Victorian Czech Glass Snake Bracelet

350.00

Black faceted czech glass beaded snake bracelet. Flexes to fit most wrists and springs back into place.

Victorian mourning jewelry commonly used the symbol of the snake as a sign of eternity. We come across these bracelets from time to time but were particularly drawn to this one as the carving of the snake's head isn't as crude as is typical for the period. The triple coil is also unusual.

Some small chips to beads due to age, only notable upon close inspection

Material: Czech Glass, Steel Wire

Dimensions: 1 3/4 inch diameter (adjustable), 1 inch width

Snake's head measures 3/4 inch length x 1/2 inch width
