Rare Pierre Chapo daybed in French elm with removable headboard and footboard.

The head board and footboard are attached to two steel sleeves that insert easily into the frame. This allows for flexibility as it could have both pieces removed to act as a bench, or one/two pieces added to act as a daybed.

High density foam, wrapped in muslin and upholstered in Pierre Frey GOTS certified white cotton canvas. Finished on both sides so can be flipped if desired.

Measurements: 77“ Length, 33 3/4” Depth, 22 3/4” Height (to top of headboard), 11 1/2“ Height (to top of base)

Condition: Excellent condition. The French elm has developed a beautiful, warm patina only found on pieces from this period. Minor signs of wear consistent with age. Please refer to images and feel free to be in touch with any questions or for additional images.
